La Saga de la queue de la baleine d’Arcachon

Depuis 2011 est ancrée au large, entre les jetées Thiers et Eyrac, bien en vue à l’horizon de la plage centrale d’Arcachon une assez imposante queue de baleine.

Cette sculpture est l’œuvre de l’artiste Emmanuel Janssens Casteels

Depuis son installation en 2011, elle change de couleur tous les ans.

La première année fut classique, dira-t-on, soit blanche. En 2012 rose fut son destin, en 2013 c’est bleue qu‘elle est apparue au printemps. En 2014 c’est en vert pâle qu’elle a passé sa saison. En 2015 elle a brillé en orange. Cette année nous la verrons jaune……

Que l’on aime ou pas cette structure, elle a le mérite de faire parler sur le Bassin depuis 6 ans…..et franchement par rapport à ce qui se passe de plus ou moins plaisant sur notre belle planète, un sujet léger comme celui-là fait plaisir….. Bonne et belle saison à tous les amoureux du Bassin d’Arcachon
